Talent Immigration

Immigration is a natural phenomenon, as people used to find a new place to satisfy their needs from the beginning of the history of mankind. In the 17th to 19th century, immigration from Europe to the United States was for reaching a land of more opportunities, mainly due to geographical factors. However, the immigration of intellectuals peaked at the mid-20th century change the style of immigration to the United States. Talented people with exceptional abilities choose the United States due to numerous opportunities in different fields. Owing to the growing demand, the immigration has been less and less flexible during the past years. It can be very dangerous for the United States in long-term, as the current selection system does not guarantee immigration of best candidates.
A major breakdown in the present system is relying on formal evidences only, though they come from different standards. Joint projects can reveal the potentials of unknown talents who can build the future of the United States.
